An electrode feed mechanism (9) is then actuated, first to draw back the broken electrode (2) from the workpiece (12) on the supply side then to guide the end of the broken electrode (12) into a slot or hole (21) machined in the workpiece (12) until the end emerges from the other side of the workpiece (12). An electrode pull-up mechanism (13) grips the emergent end and pulls up the electrode (2) after release by the clamping mechanism (8).

MACHINE FOR ELECTROEROSION PROCESSING
The invention relates to the field of electrophysical processing methods, in particular for the design of wire cutting machine. The aim of the invention is to increase the reliability of the machine by ensuring the capture of the electrode-tool with its accidental break. For this, an additional clamping mechanism of the electrode-tool is introduced into the machine, located on the side of its entry into the processing zone and made in the form of a body with a trapezoidal recess facing the larger side to the processing zone, in which a pair of rollers mounted freely on the axes with the possibility of vertical movement . 4 ill.
